The path LP PR 13, of medium-high difficulty, leads to the interior of the National Park and allows us to travel in part, until leaving it by its natural exit: the Barranco de las Angustias. It leaves from Los Llanos de Aridane and returns to this population, in a route of about 28 kilometers in length and an approximate duration of 9 hours and a half. However, the section that is usually followed is the one that goes from the viewpoint of Los Brecitos to the Parking of the Vineyard. In that case, one descends to the Parking of the Vineyard (Barranco de las Angustias) with the car and parked. There you can hire a taxi (it is advisable to reserve it in advance) that goes up to Mirador de los Brecitos, which would be the starting point. If you prefer you can also take the taxi in Los Llanos and leave the car there. However, in this last case we must take into account that, when we finish the route in the Parking of the Vineyard, we would still be able to climb back to the urban core. If you start the route in the viewpoint of Los Brecitos, it will take an hour and a half to reach the heart of the Park, where the camping area is. We can take a bath in the cold waters of the stream before continuing our journey, which will take us down the Barranco de las Angustias for another four hours. Finally we will arrive at the Parking of the Vineyard, where we will pick up our car or continue towards Los Llanos de Aridane. This hiking route allows you to contemplate the interior of the National Park, admiring its Canarian pine vegetation and its geological formations, with special attention to the shape of the rocks in the Barranco de las Angustias.
